This small eggplant can be grown in a large container or garden. Bears many slender fruits with dark purple skin. Flesh is tender and silky with few seeds. Absolutely delicious barbecued.

Growing recommendations

Seed eggplant in flats 8 weeks before last frost. Eggplant can be slow to germinate, especially in cool soil, so keep soil moist and be patient. If need be, transplant to cells or pots after seedlings develop true leaves. Transplant 18” apart when days are warm.
